Easter Time again...

It is Easter time again... At Guam, many Catholics celebrate this special weekend. It starts off with a Good Friday holiday. Many pilgrims will hike up to Mt. J. Manglo carrying a freshly cut heavy cross up early in the morning. The walk up to the mountain can be very tiring if you don't have any stamina.

We took the opportunity to take a Sabbath Hike there in the afternoon. It was a lovely walk as the pathway are clear for Good Friday activity. The view remains so breathtaking as usual.

On Sunday, we celebrated Easter at aunty Helen's house in Yigo. It was Kevin's first Easter Egg hunting and he had a great time finding lots of eggs... He calls out to mommy and said "Egg Egg" pointing his little fingers at it. He spent the whole afternoon in and out of the pool with Veronica (helen's granddaughter) and I finally get to meet Gia & her whole family.

At a Kite Festival

Enjoying the famous yearly Kite Festival at Asan Historical Park on March 15, 2008. There were many different displays and design. I love the fish, octopus and the flags.... It was a very windy afternoon.
